may blog they poured fire on us from the sky

significance,
i chose this book because it seemed like it had a interesting stroy. I liked this book a lot and it's cool because it's a true story. It's about the stroy of three boys that was stuck in a war and the yhad to travel all over the desert.
perspective,
the author of this book is judy a. bernstien. the story in this book happened a few years ago because it says what day it is a lot in the book. I think the author of this book was inspired to write this book because she met the boys and thought the story was really cool so she wrote about.
evidence,
the argument the author is trying to make is that sometimes theres wars in other contries and we don't even know about it. the author is very discripetive so it gives you a good picture in your head. THe author is really good because she incorperrated how her and the boys met at the begining of the book.
connection,
this book inspired me to find out what happens in the world. this book is connected to history because it is an important war.
suppostion,
the author needed to have really good connections to talk to those boys so they would know about their story. i think that the author is really good friends with those boys.

dairy of a wimpy kid

significance,
i think this book is important because it shows how middle school is hard for kids. i think the author is trying to say that some kids have trouble in middle school. i chose to read this book because i started reading it in Cosco and i thought it was funny so i chose to read it.
perspective,
the author of this book is Jeff Kinney. this book takes place in the present because they play video games in this and the school system is the same.
evidence,
i thin think author is trying to make the argument that kids have a hard time in middle school with bully's older brothers and the rest of the pressures around middle schoolers. the author is supporting this argument by describing the pressures of middle school and adding in examples.
connections,
this book has connections to today because a lot of kids go through problems in middle school. this book has inspired me to buy, and read the next book in the series.
Supposition,
i think the next book is going to be a lot like the this one except that the brother is going to bug the main character more because the next book is called Rodrick rules and Rodrick is the brother. i think if this book happened 30 years ago it would be way different because the kid is obsessed with video games which makes the story funnier.

The hatchling

significance,
i think this work matters because its shows that if your not happy were you are living so should just leave. i think the author is trying to say that if your not happy and people are just pushing you around in a certain place just leave.
perspective,
the author of this book is Kathryn Lasky. i think the author is clearly against the fact that some society's boss people around and don't let them have free will.
evidence,
i think that the author is trying to make the argument that if your not happy you should do something about it. the author is supporting the argument by showing that if someone is pushing you around and making you turn against your friends you shouldn't let them control you.
connection,
this work connects to the book the joy luck club because the joy luck club is about people pressuring people to do stuff, and in this book the main character is pressured by his mom to be perfect and to betray his friend. this book inspires me to read the next book in the series.
supposition,
i think that in the next book the mother is going to catch up to the son and try to bring him back to there home. this book would be a lot different if the book were about humans instead of owls.

firewing

significance,
this book is important because it has a really good storyline and really good writing. Also this book has a really good message of helping people. i chose to reed this book because i've read the other two in the series and thought they were really good.
perspective,
the author of this book is kenneth oppel.
evidence,
the author is trying to argue that even if your a bat you don't give up on friends and family. a factual detail in this problem is that almost anyone will do anything to keep themselves alive.
connection,
this connects to subject and disipline because some of the bats in this book are trying to kill to get out of the land of the dead and others are just trying to get to the tree and go to a better place.
supposition,
a prediction i can make based on what i've learned in this book is that people will do almost anything to escape death, and that friendships and familys are stronger than death. if you changed the fact that the main characters are bats to humans i think that this book would mean a lot more to people.
sincerly,
jack M.

Guardians of ga'hoole: the burning

significance,
i think this book is important because it sort of teaches that there is nothing more powerful than friendship. i think people should care about this book because it teaches about friendship and how friendships can survive wars.
perspective,
the author of this book is Kathryn Lasky
evidence,
the author of this book uses the evidence that even animals have Friends and enemies.
connection,
this book is important because its important to have friendship even when there's a war going on.
supposition,
i think if animals didn't fight like they do in this book they would be very week and it would be easy to kill them and there population would decrease.
